Special Abilities Ministry

 
 
 

As the special needs population moves from childhood into Junior High, we at First Church of the Nazarene have noticed that the gap widens between those with special needs and those without.  This is a time of transition in life that is difficult for any young person.  God led us at First Church to create an environment for our special needs students where they can learn about Jesus, establish friendships, have fun social activities, and participate in outreach and giving opportunities-all at our own pace.  We call ourselves Special Abilities Ministry, because we realize that God, if we allow Him, can turn our Special Needs into Special Abilities. 
 
Sundays
  9:00 am -  Sunday School Class. We open our Bibles and learn about Jesus. 
10:30 am - Worship Service. A time to worship with our friends. 
 
Wednesday Nights at 7:00 pm, Room 200.
